Professional Associations
Cameracraftsmen of America was founded in 1905 in Iowa by a group of dedicated photographers for the purpose of exchanging ideas and working for the betterment of professional photography. Throughout the years, the organization has evolved into a group of highly talented individuals who meet annually to advance the profession of photography as an art. Membership is limited to forty individuals and is by invitation only.
While Sports, Finance and Religion may evoke fanaticism from some people, this unique group of men and women seek to extract the highest possible results from photography. It is the essence of their existence. It is the hope and desire of Cameracraftsmen of America that their images will warm the heart and stir the soul of the viewer and demonstrate that the art of photography can be a worthwhile venture for the betterment of mankind.
